Behind every brand is a story.

Here’s mine.

I grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts as a highly sensitive child with a long history of weird health issues that confounded doctors and exasperated my mother. Since I was a teen, I started researching natural health remedies to try and find answers.

Art school seemed the best place for a sensitive and creative mind like mine, and I graduated from RISD in 1990 with a degree in Graphic Design. This opened up a door to many exciting jobs worldwide – from editorial design (Colors Magazine, Vanity Fair) to packaging design (Donna Karan Beauty, M&S), and finally, branding (Wolff Olins).

During my job at Wolff Olins, I learned about the power of branding and the research and storytelling aspects of brand strategy. I’ve been honing my skills in this area for the last 20 years.

I’ve lived in Providence, New York, Rome (where I met my English husband) and am now settled in London.

I absolutely love uncovering the ‘story behind the brand’ through research and deep meaningful work with my clients.

My interest in natural health continued in my early thirties, when I faced infertility, and was reignited years later when my youngest daughter developed complex autoimmune and neurological challenges, including PANDAS. These experiences led me to retrain in nutritional therapy, qualifying from CNM in 2017. With the support of nutritional therapist Stella Chadwick at Brainstorm Health, my daughter gradually recovered and is now thriving at university.

I went on to work with Stella and her wonderful team before long Covid in 2020 forced me to step back from clinical practice. In 2023, I also underwent emergency surgery for a perforated bowel and lived with a colostomy for nine months. This experience inspired me to volunteer for Colostomy UK and my support for therapists working with stoma patients.

Wanting to stay connected to the industry I love, I now bring together my background in nutrition and my long-standing career in design to support nutritional therapists and natural health professionals. I help clients with brand strategy, workshops, design, copywriting, and building services that reflect the work they truly want to do.

I collaborate directly with small practices as well as with agencies on large-scale projects for clients such as Nature, the NHS, and the V&A, often collaborating with the brilliant designer Mark Porter.

I hope to return to active nutritional therapy practice in the future. For now, my mission is simple: to make it as easy as possible for you to launch and grow your business so you can help make the world a healthier place.

If you’d like to connect, I’d love to hear from you.
